Police Commissioner Gary Griffith has provided a map purporting to show 14-year-old Naomi Nelson could not have been shot by police, given where she was standing and the direction in which the police would have been firing during the alleged shoot-out between police and Carenage residents last Friday. North Korea fires two short-range missiles, South says

The missiles fired from the north-western city of Kusong travelled 420km (260 miles) and 270km towards the east. The tests come as a top US envoy is in South Korea for talks on how to break the deadlock over nuclear negotiations. Read more here…

Iran nuclear deal: European powers reject 'ultimatums'

Iran announced on Wednesday that it had suspended two commitments under the 2015 accord in response to the economic sanctions the US reimposed last year. It also threatened to step up uranium enrichment if it was not shielded from the sanctions' effects within 60 days. Read more here…
